Hello Fans of the Braintree Farmers Market… This is a reminder that the market operates rain or shine. The BFM is unique in that we don’t know of any other farmers markets that have the opportunity to go inside on unpleasant weather dates. The Town of Braintree provides a perfect space for us inside the Braintree Town Hall.
Last summer many small businesses suffered throughout Massachusetts due to a cycle of wet weather that seemed to always fall on Saturdays. Farmers markets are thought of as fair-weather markets but our farmers are harvesting all throughout the season and appreciate the support on rainy days as well as on sunny ones.
Our ability to bring our vendors with products that are sensitive to harsh weather conditions inside ensures our market visitors can enjoy dry conditions and products that escape weather related damage. Enjoy listening to our musicians while utilizing our cafe area that is set up for folks to sit and savor their market treats. We want all of our customers to know that we will be here for you every Saturday no matter what the weather may bring.
